Hellmuth & Johnson attorney Kelley Scrocca has been nominated to join the American Cancer Society Nationwide Gift Planning Advisor Council (NGPAC). The NGPAC’s mission is to increase the quality and quantity of planned gifts to the American Cancer Society (ACS) by serving as an active source of expert consultation, estate planning technical input, referrals, and “warm” introductions to potential donors and advisors and periodic education in various areas of charitable gift planning in support of the gift planning professional staff throughout ACS and its respective Regions.
Scrocca has an LL.M. in Estate Planning and has worked exclusively in this area of law for more than 20 years. Her services range from working with ultra-high net worth families on all aspects of their estate planning and business succession needs, formation of complex trusts for tax or asset protection purposes, down to simple wills, powers of attorney and living wills, addressing special needs, and formation of LLC’s or other business entities. She also has experience forming non-profits, private foundations and helping to establish scholarships and endowments. Scrocca is licensed to practice law in seven states.
