In what area of law do you practice and why did you choose this?
M&A / Business corporate law. I chose this because I found that it was a great mix of things I was already good at, as well as gave me the opportunity to learn how to help people in a different way.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
Either a Princess or TV News Anchor.
When did you decide you wanted to be a lawyer?
My second day of law school. I was unsure when I first started, but fell in love very quickly.
Tell us about a mentor who made an impact on your career.
Both my godfather and his wife. She is a non-practicing but licensed attorney and they both seriously encouraged me to go to law school.
What do you like best about practicing law at H&J?
How welcoming attorneys are of both questions and tackling something that is in their wheel house – everyone wants to help the firm and I think that shows.
What is the best career advice you have received?
There are no dumb or stupid questions.
What is an item on your bucket list?
Travel to every continent.
When you are not working, what would people find you doing?
Either cooking or downhill skiing.
