Greg is an associate with Hellmuth & Johnson, with big city and small-town experience, having previously worked at a downtown St. Paul firm and a rural Illinois firm prior to that. He has advised and developed plans for a variety of clients, creating simple will-based plans as well as more complicated trust-based plans. In addition to estate planning, Greg focuses his practice on estate and trust administration, business formation and dissolution, and complex farm transition planning.
Prior to earning his J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, Greg earned his B.A. with majors in History, Latin, and Catholic Studies from the University of St. Thomas, parlaying this into an M.Ed. from the University of Notre Dame. With these degrees he taught high school religion, Latin, and history for six years. During that time, he developed many skills that now help him to serve his clients well, including the ability to listen patiently to clients’ goals and to guide them to the outcome that is best for them.
While he does not brag about himself too much, Greg has run the Chicago Marathon, is active in his parish, and enjoys playing in a highly competitive rec softball league.
Greg is licensed in Minnesota and Arizona state courts.
