Edina, MN – Hellmuth & Johnson, PLLC today announced that Terrance W. Moore has joined the firm. Hellmuth & Johnson now has 41 attorneys and continues its focus on growth and excellence.
Terrance W. Moore recently joined Hellmuth & Johnson, PLLC in July of 2012. Moore serves as outside general counsel for closely-held businesses and is an experienced business litigator. Moore is an advisor and problem solver for his clients. He negotiates critical contracts including business acquisitions, financing, mergers, media rights agreements, private offerings, real estate and more routine business documents like leases, sales agreements and employment contracts. Terry Moore advises business clients from a variety of industries, with a concentration in the broadcasting and healthcare industries. His practice taps heavily on his experience in negotiations, the broadcast industry and as an entrepreneur himself. Terry advises companies in a broad range of areas, including contract negotiations, sale and acquisition of businesses, employment matters, real estate, regulatory matters, and many other areas.
In 2012, Terry published his first book, Big Force Negotiations. Mr. Moore is a frequent lecturer and author on a variety of topics, including negotiation tactics, ethics, healthcare marketing boundaries and broadcasting. He was named Attorney of the Year for Minnesota Lawyer in 2006. Mr. Moore was awarded the Minnesota State Bar Association’s President’s Award in 2003. He has also been named a leading Minnesota healthcare attorney and as a Super Lawyer.
He is a past chair of both the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Civil Litigation Section and the Entertainment Law Section. He has also worked with the Minnesota Conference of Chief Judges and the Minnesota District Judges Association.
Terry obtained his J.D. from the University of Minnesota and his B.S. (Government) from St. John’s University. He lives in Edina, Minnesota with his wife, Dr. Anne Moore, and their three children.
