Hellmuth & Johnson is pleased to announce that attorney Heidi J. Bassett has been named a Partner in the firm.
Bassett joined Hellmuth & Johnson in 2019. Her practice focuses on business, banking, real estate, and construction. She is a litigator and appellate attorney, adept at balancing her clients’ legal needs with corporate objectives and financial realities. She is an experienced trial attorney and has represented clients in more than 200 appeals. She also wrote and edited Florida Foreclosure Law, a legal treatise in its sixth year of publication.

Bassett obtained her J.D. from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is admitted to practice before all of the state courts of Minnesota and Florida, the United States District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Eighth and Eleventh Circuits and the United States Supreme Court. She earned her B.A. from the University of Minnesota.
